El presidente de Francia, Emmanuel Macron, ha recibido en la ciudad alemana de Aquisgrán el Premio Carlomagno "por su visión de una nueva Europa, la refundación del proyecto europeo, por su pasión y su compromiso con Europa así como por su decidida lucha contra cualquier forma de nacionalismo y aislamiento para superar la crisis europea".
